Your Activity controls settings give you control over the information that's saved to your Google Account. When these settings are on, Google may store and use this information whenever you’re signed in to a Google product on any device.
You're in control of your Google Account settings, and you can change them at any time.
  • Your searches and browsing activity: Saves searches and other browsing data, which may include history from Chrome and other apps. This gives you better search results across all Google products.
  • Places you go: Saves your past locations in a map only you can see. This improves your map search results and route recommendations.
  • Your voice searches and commands: Saves your voice and audio inputs when you speak to Google. This improves speech and audio recognition.
  • Videos you search for on YouTube: Saves your searches on YouTube. This gives you better search results and video recommendations.
  • Videos you watch on YouTube: Saves a list of the videos you've watched recently on YouTube. This makes it easier to find those videos again quickly.
  • Information from your devices: Saves information like your contacts, calendars, apps, and device data. This information helps improve the accuracy and relevance of results and suggestions.

  2. Choose the setting you want to update and switch it to on (green) or off (gray).

  3. From here, you can see any history that's been saved and delete it.
