Make OpenTable restaurant reservations on Google: Earning OpenTable points

Make OpenTable restaurant reservations on Google

You can book a table at a restaurant through OpenTable without ever leaving the search results page.

Make a reservation

  1. Open Google.
  2. If you aren’t signed in to your Google Account, go to the top right corner and click the blue Sign in button.
  3. Type make a reservation at, then the name of the restaurant you want to go to. For example, make a reservation at cascal.
  4. Choose the date, time, and party size for your reservation.
  5. Click Find a table.
  6. Choose the time when you want to reserve your table.
  7. Confirm your contact information.
  8. Choose Make reservation.

More reservation options

You’ll see a confirmation on the search page after making your reservation in Google. You’ll also receive a confirmation email from OpenTable shortly afterwards.
Tip: You can also search show me my reservations to see all upcoming reservations for restaurants, flights, events, and more.
Once you’ve booked your reservation on Google, you’ll receive an email confirmation from OpenTable about your reservation. Use the Change or Cancel links in that email to make updates to your reservation.
You'll receive Dining Rewards points on OpenTable for reservations made using Google.

Troubleshoot issues

You’ll see this error as you’re making your reservation if Google can’t connect with OpenTable to confirm your reservation. To try again, click Start over.
Your restaurant will only show up if it is already integrated with OpenTable. You’ll need to work with OpenTable directly if you want to add your restaurant to their site.
First, make sure you’re signed in to your Google Account and searching on https://www.google.com.
If that doesn’t fix the issue, the restaurant you’re looking for might not be connected to OpenTable. Try checking the restaurant’s website to see if there are other ways to make online reservations.

Availability

To book an OpenTable reservation on Google, you’ll need to:
  • Search from the United States or Canada on https://www.google.com
  • Be signed in to your Google Account
  • Have your language set to English
